Making Thyme Kitchen Fundraiser
Making Thyme Kitchen actually prepares meals for customers based on their order. Meals are then either delivered or picked up by the customer. It is not a kitchen were the customers prepares the meals. They use all fresh local produce and ingredients!
They plan on serving us samples that will equate to a light lunch at no cost. Guests will complete order forms to have meals ready for pickup by week's end. Making Tyme will donate a portion to F.L.O.W.
Sat. April 26th
Yard Sale Fundraiser - Raised $250.00 see blog for details
Donations for sale will be taken from 7-9am
Sale held 9am-4pm
Our first community fund raiser is on April 26th, 2008 at Naya Restaurant, 1144 East Paris Ave.
We are having a yard to sale to raise money; however, we need you to donate items. It is spring cleaning time so bring all your unwanted junk to become someone else’s treasure! You can drop off your items from 7-9am at Naya. At 4pm, we will be bagging up left over items and taking them to Salvation Army. (If you want your unsold items back, you may pick them up at 4pm). Please e-mail Michelle Gordon at michellegordon@grar.com if you plan to drop off items that day so that we can plan how many tables will be needed.
We will also need volunteers to work the yard sale. If you have youth who are needing community service hours, have them contact Michelle as well.
Past Event
Home shopping party at Olives Restaurant
We had ten home shopping representatives all in one place for your enjoyment and convenience. Each rep donated a percentage of their proceeds to F.L.O.W. Olives Restaurant opened their doors for our “private” party. The bar was open (cash bar) and a special appetizer menu was provided. Ten percent of all bar sales were doanted to F.L.O.W. This event was a huge success. We raised $1,000.00. Thank you to everyone who participated. |
